I was heavily inspired by the woodcuts of Hans Holbein and the fear I felt during the first lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I started by drawing the design digitally, then did a laserjet transfer onto the linoleum block (and had to redraw some areas). Cutting the block took around fifteen hours.
As of writing, four people have had the finished piece tattooed on them.

The pink wash of paint is to see the positive areas easier.

Test prints, and the main printing. Only 10 of the 15 I did turned out well enough to edition.
